RaceTrac was looking for a way to drive in store sales of food items
Objective:
Increase morning in store traffic and sales of food items
Campaign:
The “Mornings” campaign focused on traditional morning food and beverages like coffee and pastries, but also highlighted the fact that mornings don’t always mean coffee and a donut or a biscuit. It’s really “Whatever gets You Going”. RaceTrac used a variety of media platforms to support and drive this message in markets, including Radio and Personality Endorsements. The personalities were encouraged to share, in their own unique way, the delicious morning offerings at RaceTrac as well as to come up with a few off the wall or non-traditional morning combinations that they might start their day with. To this end, the personalities were invited to the RaceTrac Kitchen to taste and sample.
Results:
The campaign achieved the goals set with radio and on-air personality endorsements playing an important role in the success of the 2017 “Mornings” campaign by engaging in car listeners just starting their day.
